Traveling to Bern
D·A·CH 2025 strives to achieve an acceptable CO2 footprint, and many participants are in a position to set an example in terms of CO2 emissions, both professionally and privately. In this context, by far the most important contribution is ground-based travel.
By train
Booking a supersaver offer «Sparschiene» as early as possible will reduce travel costs significantly. Night train services are already operating from Berlin, Vienna, Zagreb, Budapest, Ljubljana, Amsterdam, Rome, Hamburg, and Prague.
If you are booking excursions or extending your stay in Switzerland, it might be worth buying a Swiss Travel Pass. This ticket gives you unlimited travel by train, bus and boat, as well as many other advantages within Switzerland.
We advise you to check also supersaver offers by the train lines of the neighbouring countries:
- SNCF
- Deutsche Bahn
- ÖBB
- Treni Italia
We will kindly remind you that you have no internet on SBB trains. However, DB and ÖBB operating Swiss destinations offer free WiFi.
Lunch options
The Bistro and Mensa Gesellschaftsstrasse provide lunch of any kind at two steps from the conference venue. Please note that lunch is at the expense of the participants.
